Over the last fourteen years, Kellogg’s has partnered with ContinYou to develop and support breakfast clubs in the most disadvantaged areas of the UK. By working together we have helped to set up 550 breakfast clubs nationwide, providing a healthy start for over one million children every year. Now with every special pack of Kellogg’s cereal you buy you can help to give a child a breakfast. Click on one of the videos to meet some of the kids from Primrose Hill Primary School in Salford and find out more about the Help Give a Child a Breakfast programme.
For every special pack of Kellogg’s cereal you buy, we’ll make a donation to help fund school breakfasts clubs across the UK. By the end of 2012, with your help we aim to serve a further 800,000 breakfasts to the children that need it most, by raising around £250,000 for the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Trust!
Breakfast clubs offer a fun, friendly and relaxed environment, where children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast and more importantly, learn, play and have fun with their friends before school.
After going 10-12 hours overnight without food, your energy reserves are low. Our bodies and brains need fuel! Attending breakfast clubs helps improve children’s behaviour, punctuality, attendance and even increases concentration levels throughout the morning, which means happier teachers too!
As well as getting the fuel they need, breakfast clubs also offer a range of arts and crafts as well as group activities, encouraging creativity, social skills and most of all fun.
